Here comes the bride

This weekend we got our tree. In past years, we've gone to several tree lots to admire the perfect trees (and balk at the prices) and then we always end up making our way to our local grocery store to purchase a tree "sight unseen" (meaning it is often still wrapped in the tree netting) for about $25.00. It has become a tradition to bring it home, cut off the netting and reveal our (sometimes Charlie Brown) tree to each other. This year, Brad and Grace went together. They forwent the tree lots and headed straight to the grocery store.

My mom says a Christmas tree is like a bride. Once it's decorated and all dressed up - it's always beautiful. And she's right. It is stunning.
